FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: current electro-stimulating device for prevention of bedsores comprises a power supply, a control unit, controls, an LCD display, a digital-to-analogue converter, patient circuit current measurement unit, minimum current protection unit, maximum current protection unit, monotonous current protection unit. Unit for generating stimulation pulses of the device includes an inverter in the form of a bridge of four solid-state opto-relays, two voltage-current converters, two selectors of anode and cathode electrodes. Control unit is made on a microcontroller with the possibility to generate a stimulation protocol at the output of four channels in turn. Protocol represents electric current of rectangular charge-balanced shape with adjustable amplitude of anode pulse A, automatically adjusted cathode pulse amplitude A/2, controlled anode pulse duration tp, automatically adjusted duration of cathode pulse 2tp, adjustable pulse repetition frequency. Pulses follow in packs with duration of 3 seconds, break of 2 seconds for 13 seconds, followed by 10 minute break, during which the electrostimulator changes into an inactive state.

EFFECT: reduced risk of bedsores in sedentary patients with temporary or lifelong immobilization, as well as increased safety for expansion of possibilities of using the device at home without external supervision around the clock.
