FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgical urology. Urethrotomy of the strictured section is performed from the top of the glans to the level of the native urethra and the proximal portion of the native urethra is fixed. Glans is dissected along a midline with mobilization of wings of the glans, and a buccal graft is taken from an inner surface of a buccal mucosa. Graft is fixed to the cavernous tunica albuginea from the apex of the glans to the proximal portion of the native urethra. Proximal part of the transplant, located earlier closer to the pharynx, is fixed in the area of the glans penis, and the distal portion located earlier closer to the corner of the mouth is fixed along the edges of the proximal portion of the native urethra. Graft completely borders the opening of the proximal portion of the native urethra, and the edge of the distal portion of the graft is spaced from the edge of the opening of the proximal portion of the native urethra by 5–7 mm. In case of urethroplasty for post-hypospadias urethral stricture, graft is fixed to fragments of spongy body of urethra.

EFFECT: method enables increasing the effectiveness of treating urethral strictures by significantly reducing the occurrence of strictures of the anastomosis of the artifactual and native urethra and fistula, formation of full-fledged micturating process and improvement of cosmetic result.
