SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a cracking catalyst and more specifically to a cracking catalyst with low coke formation and a method for preparing said catalyst. Cracking catalyst contains 10–70 wt.% of a cracking active component, 10–60 wt.% of binder and 10–70 wt.% of clay, wherein the cracking active component comprises a first Y-type molecular sieve; where the first Y-type molecular sieve is a modified molecular sieve based on the crystalline modification of kaolin, obtained by modifying the molecular sieve based on the crystalline modification of kaolin, and has a sodium oxide content of less than 2 wt.%, and for a molecular sieve based on a crystalline modification of kaolin when measured by an X-ray diffraction method, the crystallinity by the peak height method is equal to ≥60%, and the ratio K1 of the crystallinity by the peak height method to the crystallinity by the peak area method is K1 = 0.76–0.89; silica-alumina ratio, measured with unit cell constant a0, is 5.0–5.5, and ratio K2 of silica-alumina ratio, measured with unit cell constant a0, to the silica-alumina ratio, measured by a chemical method, is K2 = 0.87–0.93, where the silica-alumina ratio is the molar ratio of silica to alumina. Method for preparing the catalyst comprises steps of vigorous mixing and mixing of a cracking active component comprising a modified molecular sieve based on a crystalline modification of kaolin, a binder and clay with water; spray drying; flushing; filtration; and drying. Catalytic cracking method includes a step of bringing hydrocarbon oil into contact with a cracking catalyst for carrying out a reaction.
EFFECT: creation of catalyst used in reaction of catalytic cracking of crude oil and having good coke selectivity, as well as higher coefficient of conversion of crude oil.
