FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ultraviolet sterilizers for water vending machines. Device comprises flow-through accumulation reservoir (1) in which ultraviolet radiation source (2) and vertically oriented cup (6) are installed. Cup (6) is attached by its upper part to removable cover (7) of reservoir (1). Centrifugal pump (4) with a “wet” rotor equipped with a direct current electric drive is located in cup (6). Also, in cup (6) there is vertical outlet pipeline (5) for supplying water from reservoir (1) to consumer container (13), the upper end of which comes out through cover (7). Vertical branch pipe (8) for supplying sterilized water is tightly installed in bottom (9) of the cup. Lower end of branch pipe (8) is hydraulically connected to the inner cavity of reservoir (1), and the upper end of branch pipe (8) is hydraulically connected to the outlet of centrifugal pump (4). Outlet of centrifugal pump (4) is hydraulically connected to the lower end of outlet pipeline (5).
EFFECT: improved operational properties of the sterilizer, increased reliability of the system for supplying water from the reservoir to the consumer’s container.
