SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquid hydrogen carrier compounds. Disclosed are liquid linear siloxane hydrogen carrier compounds of formula (I), in which n is an integer greater than or equal to 3 and less than or equal to 50, in which R and R' include Si and hydrogen, and/or oxygen, and/or halogen, where radicals R and R' do not contain carbon and where R and/or R' contains halogen. Also disclosed is a mixture of said carriers, a mixture thereof with cyclic siloxane compounds, use of said compounds and a method of producing hydrogen using said compounds. Also disclosed are embodiments of the method of obtaining and a method of regenerating said compound.
EFFECT: disclosed compounds have improved stability and can be obtained using a more energy-efficient method.
