FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a process for producing a liquid siloxane hydrogen-carrier compound, including X, Y or Z reaction paths, comprising the following successive steps: obtaining a silicon dioxide based compound and/or a compound based on silicate and: in the case of reaction route X, carrying out a halogenation step silica-based compounds and/or silicate-based compounds to form silicon tetrahalide; carrying out a step of reducing silicon tetrahalide to obtain a halosilane, and carrying out a step of hydrolysing the halosilane to obtain a liquid siloxane hydrogen carrier compound; in the case of reaction route Y, carrying out the step of reducing the silica-based compound and/or the silicate-based compound to obtain silicon to obtain silicon; carrying out a step of hydrohalogenating silicon to obtain a halosilane, and carrying out a step of hydrolysing the halosilane to obtain a liquid siloxane hydrogen carrier compound; in the case of reaction route Z, carrying out the step of halogenating the silica-based compound and/or the silicate-based compound to obtain silicon tetrahalide; carrying out the stage of reduction of silicon tetrahalide to obtain silicon; carrying out a step of hydrohalogenating silicon to obtain a halosilane; and carrying out a step of hydrolysing the halosilane to obtain a liquid siloxane hydrogen carrier compound. Also proposed are a method for regenerating a liquid siloxane hydrogen carrier compound, a corresponding carbon-free liquid siloxane hydrogen carrier compound, a method for producing hydrogen using it, and using a liquid siloxane hydrogen carrier compound for storing and transporting hydrogen (variants).
