FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to orthopaedic devices for correction of acquired and congenital deformities of skull. What is presented is a child’s mechatronic cranial orthosis made in the form of a helmet with slots, on which a control unit and an accumulator are fixed, and on the inner side of the helmet there are force sensors connected to the control unit. On both sides of the helmet there are electromechanical drives made with possibility of uniform tightening of cables of two halves of the helmet. For each side of the helmet on one half of the helmet there is an electromechanical drive of rotation, on the pulley of which there is a rope connected to the second half of the helmet. A device for measuring intracranial pressure in the form of a gas-filled shell with an integrated sensor for measuring gas pressure in the shell and connected to a control unit is located on the inner side of the helmet in the parietal region above the unclosed fontanelle.

EFFECT: controlled and constant force of fixation of helmet on patient's head due to use of electromechanical drive and feedback sensors and measurement of intracranial pressure during use of mechatronic cranial orthosis.
