FIELD: cleaning equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning equipment and can be used, in particular, for cleaning the outer surface of window glass in high-rise buildings. Method of cleaning windows glass outside high-rise buildings is presented, which consists in cleaning window glass with a brush with fibrous bundles fixed on its body with a length equal to the width of the window glass, vertical movements along the window frame using a reversible electric motor of the brush movement mechanism, with simultaneous supply of washing liquid to the window glass through holes uniformly distributed along the wall of the brush body, which form jet nozzles. Cleaning of window glass from outside of high-rise building is carried out with a wiper comprising a brush with a flat hollow body and additionally fixed on it ferromagnetic plates and at least one elastic scraper, which through the open sash of the window is applied to the outer surface of the window glass and is held on the glass by pressing the ferromagnetic plates to the glass with electromagnets of the brush movement mechanism located on the opposite surface of the glass, and vertical reciprocating movements of electromagnets by means of reversing electric motor and drive lever move ferromagnetic plates with brush by sliding on window glass on substrates from pile material, with simultaneous spraying of washing liquid onto the window glass by means of jet holes-nozzles in metered portions using a plunger water pump from a reservoir located inside the high-rise building, along a flexible hose through the cavity of the brush body, cleaning the window glass from the outside of the high-rise building, wherein said flexible hose acts as a safety rope against brush fall in case of accidental separation from glass.

EFFECT: simpler design and higher safety when cleaning external surfaces of glass windows of high-rise buildings.
