HUMAN FEMOROPLASTY TECHNIQUE Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2833123 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to plastic surgery. A horizontal incision is made along the inguinal fold, vertical incisions are made along a medial surface of the thigh, excess skin is excised, soft-tissue components of the operating area are fixed and the incisions are closed. At the first stage of intervention, an adipocutaneous flap is formed from an upper attachment point of a tailor's muscle along an inguinal zone and further to a medial edge of a sub-gluteal fold. De-epidermisation is performed; at the second stage, a horizontal skin incision is formed in the inguinal zone under the flap formed at the first stage, as well as vertical incisions along the antero-medial and postero-medial surface of the thigh to the patellar region. At the third stage, the subcutaneous fat is incised to the full depth in the operating area with preserving the de-epidermised flap and the excess adipocutaneous flap is excised. At the fourth stage, the edges of the flaps of the anterior-medial and posterior-medial thigh surfaces are connected to form a vertical suture along the median line of the inner thigh. At the fifth stage, the de-epidermised flap is fixed to the fascia lata and to the upper inner surface of the vertically sutured adipocutaneous flap by suturing with a non-absorbable suture, wherein fixation is performed by pulling up the vertically stitched adipocutaneous flap by pricking in a surgical needle with a suture from the side of its inner surface at 2 cm below the incision line, subcutaneous fat is sutured, intradermal sutures are applied.

EFFECT: method enables increasing the effectiveness of stabilizing the soft tissues of the femoral region when performing femoroplasty in a human being, which is objectively manifested by a decrease in the risk of ptosis of the tissues of the anterior, posterior and medial hip regions due to gravitational changes.
