FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of cleaning inner surface of long metal products, including pipes, and can be used for surface cleaning from process lubricants after rolling and drawing, before thermal treatment, application of coatings and finishing operations. Method of cleaning the inner surface of long articles includes supplying along the cleaned inner surface of an aqueous solution with a continuous flow at constant pressure simultaneously with pulsed supply of compressed gas, which is supplied with a constant frequency in range of 1 to 20 Hz to form a pulsating gas-liquid flow. Aqueous solution is fed preferably at constant pressure of more than 10 atmospheres, and air is supplied at a pressure exceeding the pressure of the aqueous solution by not less than 1 atmosphere. Also, an aqueous solution is used with additive of detergent "LAVAMIXD 103" in amount of 1–10 g/l.

EFFECT: higher quality of inner surface cleaning and higher efficiency, achieved by creating hydrodynamic cavitation.
