FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and a method for processing a metal roll, namely to purification of process lubricants, and can be used in cleaning long products (pipes, wires, rods) after manufacturing before applying different coatings, as well as for finishing the surface of products. Device for cleaning long products contains a toroidal chamber with two input tangential nozzles and a coaxial outlet nozzle with channels tangential to the surface of the article. Ratio S1 between the cross-sectional areas of the inner surface of the nozzle and the cylindrical article to the total area S2 cross sections of channels satisfies the following condition: Rotating stream of detergent water solution and compressed air are fed into the chamber and turbulence of the gas-liquid flow is created in the exit nozzle. In this case, the pressure of the aqueous solution flow is changed to form a pulsating gas-liquid flow, which is countercurrent to the product. There is a creation of hydrodynamic and surface cavitation.
EFFECT: technical result is improved efficiency of treatment.
