SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by a method of ensuring data integrity during degradation of multidimensional storage systems, in which a data array M is presented in the form of blocks of fixed length m1,1, ml,2,…, m1,t; m2,1, m2,2,…, m2,t;…; mk,1, mk,2,…, mk,t, forming matrix W, where k≠t, which makes it possible to add control units, which make it possible to increase the correcting ability of data integrity recovery means.
EFFECT: high correcting capacity of data integrity recovery means under conditions of degradation of storage systems with limitations on allowable resource costs.
