SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used in poultry farming, namely in the field of increasing productive indices of broiler chickens. According to the invention, barohydrothermal treatment of lupine seeds is carried out with subsequent enrichment with fodder yeast in order to reduce anti-nutritional substances and increase digestibility of protein by an organism of farm animals and poultry. Substance of the invention consists in the fact that the proposed method will make it possible to increase digestibility of lupine protein by poultry due to barohydrothermal treatment of lupine with subsequent application of a suspension of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast. This method enables to obtain a porous structure of lupine grain, as well as reduce content of alkaloids by 60%. Also, during treatment there is a rupture of grain shells and cell walls, therefore, intracellular structures become more accessible for digestive enzymes, which contributes to increased digestibility of lupine grain by poultry. Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast suspension enables to obtain an easily digestible product with high protein content.

EFFECT: method for increasing digestibility of leguminous crop protein based on lupine seeds enables to intensify metabolic processes in broiler chickens, as well as to increase productive indices: live weight, average daily gain and slaughter yield.
