FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in designs of pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders converting gas or liquid pressure in the cylinder into translational movement of the rod. In the device, the rod has a spherical piston, in which, at the point of contact with the cylinder, an external groove is made for the installation of an O-ring, which provides the tightness of the connection of the rod with the cylinder, there is a cylindrical belt on the rod, which, being in the hole of the nut installed on the end of the cylinder, provides the coaxial arrangement of the rod with the cylinder, and when the cylindrical collar comes out of the nut hole, a gap is formed between the rod and the nut hole, which, together with the spherical piston, provides the possibility of the rod rotation relative to the cylinder axis through an angle of up to ±4° without jamming of piston in cylinder, with preservation of tightness of connection of rod with cylinder.
EFFECT: possibility of the rod axis rotation relative to the cylinder axis through an angle sufficient for compensation of possible angular and transverse displacements of the pushed parts without jamming of the rod piston in the cylinder, while maintaining tightness of the rod-to-cylinder connection.
