FIELD: clocks and other time meters.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to watch industry, namely to design of chaton in watches. Method of installation of case chaton containing stone and projections, wherein projections are made on end part of chaton, and for fixation of chaton in case of watch its rotation is performed relative to axis with provision of transition fit, at which projections of chaton are installed in mating slots on case of watch.
EFFECT: manufacture of a removable chaton, the shape of which will make it possible to install it directly into the watch case, and not into the watch mechanism plate, which in turn will provide a reduction in the total thickness of the watch; in addition, the chaton device provides the possibility of easy installation and removal of the stone for its height adjustment during the watch assembly, wherein the chaton is designed to provide a strong attachment in the watch case and at the same time with the possibility of its removal for adjusting the stone in height.
