FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to physical instrument making and can be used to study physical and chemical properties of substances at ultrahigh pressures and high temperatures. Device includes a housing inside which there are movable ceramic supports with diamond anvils, a gasket, disc springs and power screws, an annular heater and a thermocouple, a water-cooled jacket and gas protection of diamonds. Conical holes are made in the movable support and the bottom of the housing. In the housing there are symmetrically located holes for adjusting and fixing screws.
EFFECT: reduced heat removal from diamond anvils, reduced gasket weight, shielding of heated parts.
