FIELD: manufacturing of drill bits.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of a high-pressure cell for the synthesis of polycrystalline diamond cutters with a composite heating element and can be used for the manufacture of drill bits. The high-pressure cell for the synthesis of diamond polycrystalline cutters includes a cube, a metal current drive with a pyrophyllite insert, a metal disk, an external thermal insulation tube, a heating element, a salt tube, separation discs, prefabricated bowls with diamond powder on a substrate. According to the invention, the diamond powder is located between the substrate and the separation disk closer to the ends of the salt tube, and the heating element consists of two or more equal graphite heaters separated by a metal ring or a central graphite heater, the resistivity of which is two times lower than the previous ones.
EFFECT: invention enables to ensure uniform distribution of heat inside a high-pressure for increasing the synthesis pressure of polycrystalline PDC cutters.
