FIELD: information storage and transmission systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for storing and transmitting video information from a manned or unmanned aircraft. System has a digital video camera, a digital video signal transmitter over a cable network, a digital video signal receiver over a cable network, a video multiplexer, a video recorder, a data transmission radio modem, a transmitting antenna. Ground receiving station comprises a receiving antenna, a radio modem for receiving data, a control and video display panel. System additionally includes a digital video signal compressor of the onboard part of the components and a digital video signal decompressor of the ground receiving station. Digital video signal compressor input is connected to the digital video signal receiver output via the cable network, the digital video signal compressor output is connected to the video multiplexer first input, input of the digital video signal decompressor is connected to the output of the data receiving radio modem, the output of the digital video signal decompressor is connected to the input of the video control and display panel.
EFFECT: increased range of radio communication between aircraft and ground receiving station.
