FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry and can be used in designing control systems for gas air cooling apparatus (hereinafter ACAg) for gas cooling after compression at compressor stations before subsequent transportation through a pipeline. Gas temperature and pressure are measured at the inlet of each section of ACAg of the current composition, temperature of the beginning of hydrate formation Thydr is calculated for the measured gas parameters and the minimum Tmin and maximum Tmax of the temperature of the lower row of the tube bundles are set, besides, temperature of tubes of lower row of tube bundle of heat exchange sections of ACAg is controlled by changing position of louvres by calculated coefficient of louvre opening K and fans are switched on or off depending on value of ambient air temperature.
EFFECT: improving energy efficiency of ACAg used for cooling of natural gas at compressor stations.
