FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paints and varnishes of wide range of application, providing anticorrosion protection. Disclosed is an enamel for applying coatings, obtained from a composition comprising a semi-finished enamel and an amine-type hardener, in which the semi-finished enamel contains a solution of epoxy resin in at least one organic solvent, and at least one pigment and fillers, where said composition is two-component, where the first component contains a suspension of pigments and fillers in epoxy resins, where the second component used is an amine-type curing agent – isofrondiamine, and the enamel itself represents the following composition, wt.pts.: epoxy resin – 40-50; xylene – 8-3; silicon dioxide – 1.0-2.0; filler – 36-23; pigment – 15-22. Amine type curing agent is contained in amount of 20-30 wt.pts. per 100 wt.pts. of semi-finished enamel.
EFFECT: disclosed enamel increases resistance to chemically aggressive media, reduces toxicity of paint material and improves physical and chemical and protective properties of the enamel itself.
