SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to hand tools for planting plants, for example, grapes, hop cuttings and planting material of other plants. Planting device for cuttings is made of two telescopic sections, the upper section of which is inserted into the hole of the lower section. A handle is fixed at the end of the upper section with the possibility of movement along the height, and a depth limiter bracket is fixed on the lower section. An axial groove is made along the end of the lower section; at that, the axial groove in the lower section is milled by half the diameter and by the height by the half of the depth of the device penetration into the soil to form a ring at the end. An external chamfer is removed from the end face of the ring. At the same time edges of milling are sharpened with formation of blade along inner side of lower section.

EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to improve soil loosening with partial excavation when making planting holes.
