FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: technical solution relates to auxiliary chemicals for agrochemicals used in agriculture. Surfactant contains partially 70-90% hydrolysed polyvinyl alcohol with viscosity of 45-56 mPa·s and pH 5-7, antifoaming agent, an intra-container preservative based on 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and a formaldehyde donor with effectiveness in the pH range of 2-9 and water, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: polyvinyl alcohol 2.8-3.2, antifoaming agent 0.03, preserving agent 0.33, water – the rest. Polyvinyl alcohol used is “ПВС 2488” alcohol, the in-container preserving agent is Neomid 122, and the antifoaming agent used is silicone antifoaming agent Penta-465. Method of producing surfactant involves adding portions of partially 70-90% hydrolysed polyvinyl alcohol with viscosity of 45-56 mPa·s and pH 5-7 into water with constant stirring and bringing temperature to 90 °C to transition of components of substance into state of stable suspension, then the suspension is held for 50-60 minutes, then cooled to temperature of 50 °C and held again for 1 hour. Further, a preservative is added to the suspension and cooled to 20 °C. Then, while stirring, an antifoaming agent is added for 20 min and held for 1 hour. Surfactant is used with sulphonylurea herbicides.

EFFECT: disclosed surfactant increases the rate of action and reduces the wetting angle of the jointly used preparation under conditions of cyclic transition of boundary values of ambient temperatures, reduces toxicity, reduces the rate of treatment and provides additional ovicidal action on lepidoptera.
