FIELD: regulation of electric generators.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric generators control, namely to control devices depending on electric parameters at the electric generator output, and can be used in self-contained generators of micro-hydroelectric power plants operating independently of centralized power supply network. Device for controlling the frequency of current generated by an autonomous generator of a microhydroelectric power plant comprises a discrete control unit, the input of which is connected to a logic unit, and the output is connected to the block of ballast load resistances. To the input of the logic unit is connected a unit for calculating the power level of the autonomous generator, to which current and voltage sensors are connected, which are installed in the armature circuit of the autonomous generator. To the logic unit output is connected a ballast load power regulation pulse-width modulation unit, outputs of which are connected to inputs of the unit of resistances of ballast loads and unit of accumulator battery, outputs of which are connected to the input of the ballast load power regulation pulse-width modulation unit.
EFFECT: wider range of means for controlling the frequency of the generated electric current to maintain a constant level of electric power of an autonomous generator of a micro hydroelectric power plant.
