FIELD: sewing.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a quick-release device for placing a canvas, comprising a pair of flat frames with magnets mounted within the frames with the possibility of their mutual magnetic attraction and fixation between the canvas frames, wherein for mounting magnets symmetrically along the perimeter in the surface of the frames, through holes are made with an equal pitch with the possibility of said holes coinciding with each other when one frame rotates relative to the other in the plane of the frames, wherein in the holes of one of the frames – the clamping one – bushings protruding beyond the surface of the frame are mounted, inside which magnetic bushings are inserted, flush with the bushings of the clamping frame, wherein the length of the bushings of the clamping frame exceeds the thickness of the clamping frame by a value X, and in the holes of the other frame – the support one – magnets are mounted, which are recessed relative to the surface of the support frame to a depth not less than the value X, wherein pressure frame bushings are fitted in said holes to fit tightly relative to said holes but to displace up and down along axis of said holes.
EFFECT: device simplifies the possibility of stretching the canvas, and also enables to use a device for hand sewing, darning and embroidering.
