FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-explosive fragmentation bomb. High-explosive fragmentation bomb comprises high-explosive fragmentation projectile and stabilizer. High-explosive fragmentation projectile consists of a head fuse, a warhead including an aluminum body. Housing shell is made in the form of a pipe, inside which there are striking elements and an explosive charge, stabilizer consists of conical part changing into rod, and four flat consoles and is fixed to bottom of warhead by means of interference fit on boss with corrugation. Head fuse is equipped with a safety bracket with a locking screw. Semi-finished striking elements located in the space of the pipe are made in the form of a set of rings with conical notches with recess 2/3 of the difference between the outer and inner radius of the ring and are made from heavy alloy based on tungsten, with weight from 0.9 to 1.1 grams, and have the shape of parallelepiped with aspect ratio of 1 × 1 × 1.3. Ratio of the mass of the fragmentation part of the article to the mass of the explosive substance is in range of 0.48–0.54 so that the speed of fragmentation is 1/3 of the detonation speed of the explosive charge. Difference between centre of pressure and centre of mass of the whole article is greater than zero.
EFFECT: creation of standard ammunition used from small aerodynamic carriers, with high efficiency of warhead, with possibility of destruction of lightly armoured equipment.
