SUBSTANCE: rocket projectile with a penetrating warhead contains a warhead (1) in the calibre of a rocket projectile, including a high-explosive charge (2), a penetrator in the form of a cylindrical body of revolution, a bottom fuse, a jet engine (9) with a stabilizer (10). The penetrator consists of a front tip (3) and a cylindrical shell (4). The wall thickness of the cylindrical shell (4) is 0.05-0.20 of its maximum outer diameter. Shell weight (4) in 1.5-4.0 times the mass of a high-explosive charge (2). In the rear part of the shell (4) inside it in front of the bottom fuse (7) there is an additional initiating charge (6).
EFFECT: creation of a rocket projectile with a penetrating warhead with improved basic characteristics and increased reliability of operation due to an increase in the combined high-explosive and fragmentation action on an object after penetration inside it, an increase in the reliability of the functioning of a penetrating warhead at the time of detonation.
