FIELD: chemistry; removal and processing of solid wastes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to chemistry and processing of wastes, specifically to a method of processing wastes of oil products to obtain fuel and to a catalyst for processing wastes of oil products. Method is carried out by preparation of raw material at the first stage, for which liquid wastes of oil products in amount of 50 to 70 wt.% are heated to temperature of 120-140 °C, solid wastes of oil products are added up to 100 wt.%, after which the temperature is increased until the solid wastes dissolve, the obtained raw material is cooled to a temperature of not more than 50 °C and transferred to the second stage. Further, the raw material is placed in a pyrolysis unit, in which low-temperature pyrolysis is carried out in the presence of a catalyst at temperature of 340-360 °C, at which the end product is obtained. Catalyst contains dimethyl disulphide, dimethyl sulfoxide, an aqueous-alkaline solution of sodium borohydride, aluminium chloride in the following ratio of components, wt.%: dimethyl disulphide – 26.0-28.0, dimethyl sulphoxide – 26.0-28.0, aqueous alkaline solution of sodium borohydride – 26.0-28.0 and aluminium chloride – 16.0-22.0.
