FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and measurement equipment and is used to measure pressure micro-oscillations in optical pressure meters with a sensitive element of membrane type. Meter includes a sealed housing with a compensation chamber equipped with a cut-off valve, a recording system, an optical system with a Michelson interferometer, including a monochromatic radiation source, a fixed reflector, a movable reflector in the form of a detachable membrane, which is simultaneously a sensitive element and an end side of the housing, and a side of the compensation chamber, an electronic automatic external pressure compensation system with an electronic control unit. An external pressure sensor is installed on the outer surface of the housing, which is connected to the electronic control unit of the compensation system, which is connected to the cut-off valve.
EFFECT: improved quality of the interference pattern of the interferometer of the optical pressure variation meter due to the elimination of deflections of the measuring membrane when the height of the liquid column at the point of operation of the device is changed, elimination of errors when carrying out pressure equalization during ascents and descents of the device by the operator; possibility of using cable for connection with fewer current-carrying conductors.
