FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: system includes a source of monochromatic radiation, a movable reflector and a fixed reflector, the piezoceramic base of which is connected to a detecting system which is configured to detect changes in the optical path length. The fixed reflector is mounted on a supporting block mounted on the object under analysis. The movable reflector is mounted on a supporting block which is part of the pendulum system, characteristics of which are defined by the detected wavelength, distance between the supporting blocks, the Q factor and resonant frequency of the pendulum system.

EFFECT: improved amplitude-frequency characteristics of the interferometer owing to elimination of its periodic harmonic oscillations in the audio range and detection of non-relative but absolute amplitude values of audio-range elastic waves in a homogeneous medium.
