SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information technology and specifically to search engines in general. Method of processing search requests, performed by at least one search system, comprising steps of: receiving a search request from a user; performing full-text search of documents based on request; generating a first set of search results; performing search request tokenization and vectorization; processing the search query vector representation using a machine learning model based on a neural network trained for semantic document search; generating a second set of search results based on the documents; combining the first and second sets of search results; ranking the combined first and second sets of search results, wherein during the ranking, determining the relevance of each document with respect to the search query; generating a generative search query result based on the obtained documents; sending the result to the user.
EFFECT: high accuracy of generating a search query result.
