FIELD: vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle speed limitation system. Proposed system comprises speed limiter, vehicle speed sensors and two independent sensors for the position of the vehicle's lifting mechanism. Speed limiter is configured to monitor vehicle speed and position of its lifting mechanism. Speed limiter is configured to send a control signal to limit speed if at least one of the lifting mechanism position sensors does not send a signal that the lifting mechanism is in the transport position. Induction relay sensor is used as the first position sensor of the vehicle lifting mechanism. Second sensor is a discrete pressure sensor.

EFFECT: automatic control of vehicle speed during movement with raised mechanism increasing overhead clearance.
