DISPOSABLE INHALATION DEVICE EMITTING SMOKE WHICH IS NOT DIRECTLY INHALED Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC A61M15/06 A24F42/20

Abstract RU 2834317 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to a disposable inhalation device configured to release smoke which is not directly inhaled by the user. Device comprises a cylindrical body formed by a shell and made with possibility of deformation by application of external pressure. One end of the shell is filled with a material for absorbing liquid and passing air into which the cylinder is placed. Cylinder is filled with a volatile substance for inhalation, which does not need to be heated for evaporation. Liquid-absorbing material is impregnated with drops of a volatile substance which is inhaled for inhalation. End of the shell, which is filled with a liquid-absorbing material and allows external atmospheric air to pass through, is perforated and allows external atmospheric air to enter through the perforated holes inside the area where the liquid-absorbing material is located. Other end of the shell is filled with a combustible organic substance which, when ignited, burns together with the shell of the inhalation device in the area where the combustible organic substance is stored. Inhalation device consists of three components: inhalation section (1), an organic substance combustion section (3) and separation section (2). Inhalation section (1) is blocked on one side by separating section (2), preventing the ingress of smoke generated during combustion of organic substance in combustion section of organic substances (3) into inhalation section, and the inhalation device is configured so that when using the inhalation device, the user does not directly inhale the smoke, and for inhalation section (1) to operate, external atmospheric air enters only inhalation section (1) and only through perforated holes for combustion of organic substance in section of combustion of organic substances (3). Separating section (2) is located between inhalation section (1) and the organic substances combustion section (3) and consists of a seal which is attached to the shell. Seal diameter is equal to diameter of inner part of cylinder shell of section for combustion of organic substances (3). Separation section (2) is configured to physically block one side of inhalation section (1) so that smoke generated during combustion of organic substances in combustion section of organic substances (3) does not enter inhalation section (1). Separation section (2) is configured to physically block one side of the organic substances combustion section (3) to prevent smoke flow in the inhalation device so that the smoke remains in the organic substances combustion section (3) and the user does not inhale the smoke through the inhalation device. Organic substance combustion section (3) is blocked on one side by separating section (2), and smoke generated during organic substance combustion cannot get into inhalation section (1), that is there is no smoke flow in inhalation section (1).

EFFECT: separating section of the present invention, which is located between the inhalation section and the organic substance combustion section, does not allow air or smoke to move from the inhalation section to the organic substances combustion section and vice versa.
