SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spacecrafts, in particular, to air intakes of direct-flow electric rocket engines operating on atmospheric gases as a working medium. Air intake device of spacecraft with direct-flow electric rocket propulsion system comprises guide channel with central body. Inside the guide channel there are peripheral fairings arranged with the possibility of linear movement both in the direction of the device inlet and in the direction of the outlet from it.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of collection and concentration of incoming flow of atmospheric gases coming into gas-discharge chamber of direct-flow electric rocket propulsion system of spacecraft, as well as possibility to control parameters of flow of atmospheric gases directly in air intake device.
