FIELD: cosmetology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cosmetology, in particular to hair care and equipment, namely to methods of hair extension using keratin, as well as to corresponding devices for its implementation. Disclosed is a hair extension method, in which an extensible strand of hair is placed below the strand of original hair, heating of the attached end of the extensible strand of hair with keratin applied on it is performed with simultaneous pressing of the attached end of the extended hair strand with keratin applied to it to the original hair strand from below with the heating device working tip, wherein all steps of the hair extension method are performed while simultaneously holding the heating device in the hand.

EFFECT: reduced labour intensity of the hair extension method; increased operational efficiency of the heating device for hair extension.
