SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the oil and gas industry, specifically to the drilling process monitoring and control technology, in particular to a device and method for automated measurement of drilling mud parameters, and can be used in oil and gas industry during well construction. Device for automated measurement of drilling mud parameters includes: housing, channels for supply and discharge of drilling fluid, measuring module with sensors of temperature, electrical stability, resistivity, dielectric constant, as well as a heating element, a pH sensor, a unit for control, data collection and determination of parameters of drilling mud, connected to the pump with possibility of its control, with sensors of temperature, electrical stability, pH, resistivity and permittivity. In the housing there are additionally installed a density meter and a heating module, which includes a heating tank with a safety pressure sensor, a heating element and a pH sensor are placed in the heating module. Measuring module is additionally equipped with a measuring device of rheological parameters, which includes at least three tubes, inside each of which there are two falling weights of the same shape and different density, and outside on each of them there are two inductive sensors.
EFFECT: stable and reliable course of cyclic process of drilling mud parameters measurement, which is necessary for operational control and elimination of problems arising during well drilling process, due to high accuracy and speed of measurements.
