FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for welding large-size ship panels, namely, for welding of mutually intersecting stiffness elements of ship set to flat sheets of skin or flooring. Two welding torches are pivotally mounted on the carriage with the possibility of changing the angle relative to the sheet plane during operation. Carriage is placed on the beam with the possibility of movement along it and is equipped with a device for mutual approach and removal of welding torches. Beam is equipped with a drive of its rotation, providing for the carriage rotation around the geometrical axis crossing the sheet plane. Device is intended for welding of a T-shaped beam or flat-bulb as a stiffener. Welding torches are intended for welding by wire electrode with supply of protective gas or with supply of loose flux.
EFFECT: invention allows fully automatic welding of intersecting stiffness elements of different geometry to a flat sheet.
