FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisms intended for movement of a welding torch during welding of metal parts, structural elements, metal sheets. Welding carriage comprises bearing base representing welding carriage chassis including control unit, motor with output shaft, torch holder, mechanism of longitudinal movement of chassis along welded contour, which is kinematically connected by means of gear transmission to motor shaft. Control unit and the motor housing are installed and fixed on a flat base plate installed and fixed on a bearing base by means of a rigid detachable connection. Engine with shaft directed vertically downwards is rigidly fixed on flat horizontal section of L-shaped plate located inside engine housing. Base plate, the bearing base and the flat horizontal section of the L-shaped plate are shaped to allow the motor shaft to pass vertically downwards through the flat horizontal section of the L-shaped plate, the base plate and the bearing base. In lower sections of opposite sides of engine housing there are slots extending to lower end side of engine housing. Slots are designed to accommodate the horizontal section of the L-shaped plate, the vertical section of which is located outside along the engine housing at a distance from it, L-shaped plate is installed with possibility of its horizontal movement together with motor in direction perpendicular to longitudinal axis of carriage. Carriage is equipped with a mechanism for horizontal movement of the L-shaped plate by acting on its vertical section. Mechanism of longitudinal movement of the chassis contains a toothed gear rigidly fixed on the end of the engine shaft extending downwards through the bearing base and intended for conversion of the rotary motion of the engine shaft into the translational movement of the chassis by means of the gear transmission. Control unit is configured to control the speed of rotation of the engine shaft depending on the type of chassis propulsor.
EFFECT: higher degree of carriage unification, ensuring interchangeability of structural units and/or elements, ease of operation and maintenance.
