FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to rehabilitation, and is intended for physical rehabilitation of patients with lower extremity amputations. There are three consecutive periods: stationary, post-stationary, prosthetics and development of the prosthesis. During the first period, compression therapy of the stump is performed. Techniques aimed at increasing overall endurance, preventing atrophy of the muscles of the stump and the segment overlying the amputation, training strength, equilibration and balance, and support ability of the intact extremity are performed. Movement is trained on a flat surface on a wheelchair, as well as using a walker, axillary or arm crutches. In the second period, the techniques of the first period are supplemented by training in overcoming obstacles in the form of steps and ramps using additional support means. During the third period, walking is successively trained on a flat surface on the prosthesis with two additional means of support for four counts. Then for two counts, then without additional support. Training of sitting down and getting up from a chair with additional support and without supports. Walking training with overcoming obstacles in the form of steps and ramps with additional support means and without them. Walking training with overcoming obstacles in urban environment and on rough terrain. Training of sitting down and getting up from the floor with and without supports. Dancing trainings include performance of steps, swings, turns and crossing of legs first at instructor command, and then independently to music with rhythm from 70 to 120 beats per minute. Criterion of motor skills development and possibility of transition to the next type of training for all types of walking is achievement of rhythm coefficient not less than 0.75, and for training of sitting down and standing up, the possibility of performing at least five repetitions without loss of tempo for sitting down on a chair and the possibility of getting up without holding the breath after sitting down on the floor.
EFFECT: method provides more effective physical rehabilitation of patients with lower extremity amputations.
