SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment used in air cooling systems, conditioning systems, air cleaning systems at power plants, hydrocarbon production and transportation enterprises, chemical and metallurgical industries and other facilities. Air preparation system is characterized by the fact that it includes: air supply path to the consumer with the following components arranged in series along the air flow: input frame mesh with a large cell, a filter mesh with a fine cell, output frame mesh with a large cell, wherein the webs of all said meshes are installed so that the air flow velocity vector crosses the planes of the webs; water spraying nozzles, the output jets of which are directed to the grids, providing washing of their webs with water, as well as cooling the air flow; water supply pipelines to spraying nozzles.

EFFECT: reliable and efficient operation of air-consuming equipment ensured by stable flow of atmospheric air cleaned from vegetal contaminants and insects.
