FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: adapter for attachment of a smartphone to a slit lamp and a surgical microscope includes a housing, inside which there are guides of a movable rail unit, and in the middle of the lower part there is a cutout for a nose to facilitate binocular examination. Movable rail unit serves to attach the adapter to the eyepiece with a screw mechanism and is configured to adjust the position relative to the housing by rotating an M5 bolt with length of 50 or 60 mm, which is fixed in the housing by two nuts. Distal part of the bolt is fixed to the movable rail unit. Limiter is installed in square holes of the housing and is configured to be fixed in the position of the lens of the smartphone camera in a plane parallel to the plane of the eyepiece of the microscope for operation in photo and video recording mode, and in the position of releasing the eyepiece for binocular inspection. Bolt cover serves to facilitate rotation of screw mechanism, magnetic panel serves for fixation of smartphone in adapter and is equipped with cover for magnetic panel. Fixing frame with square holes for connection with magnetic panel and cells for installation of neodymium magnets is made with possibility of fixation of magnetic panel at a distance from housing. Support angle for fixing the smartphone coaxially with the microscope eyepiece is fixed on the magnetic panel.

EFFECT: obtaining an image of eye structures using a smartphone camera when the smartphone camera is attached to a slit lamp or a surgical microscope.
