A removable camera for installation on an operating microscope is described, including a housing inside which a digital video camera is fixed, and the housing is designed to be mounted between the lens of the operating microscope and the eyepieces, while the housing contains through channels for each eyepiece, while one of the channels is installed a translucent mirror, which is made with the possibility of partial deflection of the light incident on it, onto the first lens fixed in the housing, behind which a prism is installed in the housing, a second lens is installed in the housing, which is made with the possibility of adjusting the focus of the image, a digital video camera is fixed behind the second lens in the housing, which is made with the possibility of obtaining a digital image from light falling on a translucent mirror through the first lens, prism and second lens, as well as with the possibility of transmitting the resulting digital image to external devices.

EFFECT: technical result is a constructive simplification of the installation and removal process of the claimed removable camera.
