SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used to convert alternating voltage into value-controlled alternating voltage. Alternating voltage regulator contains one capacitor and one choke connected in L-shaped form of smoothing filter with load, and one group of controlled unidirectional keys, at the input from the supply mains side there is a step-up transformer. In this controller, the group of controlled unidirectional keys consists of two controlled unidirectional keys. Controlled unidirectional keys in the group are connected in an anti-parallel manner.

EFFECT: high quality of the output voltage of the controller, as well as elimination of low-frequency harmonics of the input current, which is consumed from the input network, reduced number of controlled semiconductor devices, possibility of increasing voltage at the output of the controller.
