FIELD: electrical engineering; heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical devices providing heating of rooms, heating of equipment. Portable induction heater consists of a main plate consisting of front and rear parts, an inductor mating plate located on the back part of the main plate, inductor coil, a protective panel covering the inductor coil, and a control unit, wherein the control unit consists of a power part of a pulse power supply unit, including a mains filter, an inverter, power transformers, an output transformer and a smoothing output filter, temperature sensors located on the main plate of the heater, converter of five-volt power bus of microcontroller, providing reduction of input value of output voltage from 40 V to 5 V while maintaining current value of 3 A, a microcontroller, an inductor power module representing a resonance clock generator between two transistors and consisting of IGBT switches and transformers, a Wi-Fi module.
EFFECT: low power consumption, high efficiency of heating, high efficiency relative to consumed energy, achieved due to program-digital control.
