FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: articulated joint comprises a fork with lugs and a clevis, which are connected to each other by a pin and an intermediate device for compensation of operating gaps in the form of a pre-stretched-twisted spring with an elastic filler fixed on the pin. Pin is fixed relative to the fork with lugs by a bar. Stretched-twisted antifriction spring is placed only in the clevis and is not overlapped by the fork lugs. Ends of the spring are located in grooves in the form of a spiral made on the shaft with the possibility of movement in them during compression and unwinding of the spring, as a result of which it increases in diameter and compensates for the wear gap. Spring turns have square cross-section, and configuration of spirals on the shaft provides the required wear compensation, but prevents jamming of the mechanism.
EFFECT: providing automatic compensation of wear gaps in the friction zone of the hinge joint, increasing its service life.
