FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a two-component osteosynthesis screw. Two-component osteosynthesis screw comprises proximal and distal elements. Proximal element is made in the form of a rod with a head and a working part. Working part is made with a screw thread on the distal end and contains a smooth section located between the head and the screw thread. Distal element is made in the form of a sleeve with an external screw thread and a stepped axial channel. On one end of the distal element there are cutting edges intended for cutting into bone tissue, on the other end of the distal element there are slots intended for transfer of torque. Stepped axial channel comprises a section of a larger diameter intended for conjugation with the head of the proximal element, and a section of a smaller diameter intended for conjugation with a smooth section of the working part of the proximal element. Screw thread of the proximal element is configured to pass through the axial canal of the distal element in a section of a smaller diameter. Head of the proximal element is equipped with a recess designed to transmit torque.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows improving the reliability of fixation and dynamic compression of bone fragments and splinters in fractures, providing stable stability of bone fragments and splinters for the whole period of adhesion, stimulating osteogenesis at the bone fracture site.
