FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery and vertebrology, and can be used for percutaneous puncture of intervertebral discs of lumbar spine. Targeted puncture of an intervertebral disc of the lumbar spine is performed under ultrasonic navigation, followed by draining the cavity of the latter with a shape memory drain. Intervertebral disc puncture is performed under ultrasound control at 9-10 or 2-3 o'clock of the conventional clock face anterior to the transverse processes.
EFFECT: method enables the safe and targeted puncture of the intervertebral disc, reducing the radiation load on the doctor and the patient, reducing the number of injuries of the performed procedure with excluding the possibility of injuring nerve roots and inter-facet joints due to the combination of techniques of the disclosed invention.
