SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to spinal surgery, and can be used for flow-irrigation drainage of purulent spondylodiscites of lumbar spine with psoas abscess. At the first stage under fluorosonoscopic control by retroperitoneal approach puncture of exudative formation of iliopsoas muscle is performed. After exudate aspiration, a J-guide is introduced into the abscess cavity, along which a pigtail drainage is inserted into the cavity. At the second stage, the disc is drained from a posterolateral surface of the loin along the scapular line with the patient lying on his/her stomach under control of an electron-optical converter, guiding the puncture needle medially at angle of 30-45 degrees, perpendicular to the cavity of the involved disc. Intervertebral disc is drained by pigtail drainage.

EFFECT: method provides relieving increased intra-wound and interstitial pressure, outflow of serous-purulent exudate and mechanical wound cleaning due to peculiarities of draining.
