FIELD: image registration.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a method for advanced correction in an optical tracking system. The image received by the video camera of the tracking loop is recorded by uniform frames, according to which the image coordinates are calculated on the matrix of the video camera of the tracking loop and stored. Based on them, relative to the zero coordinate of the matrix of the tracking video camera, the displacement in space of the observed beam and the change in the tilt angles of the wave front of the turbulent atmosphere are calculated. The calculated signal is fed to the deflector of the tracking loop, which sets the angle of rotation of the deflector mirror and compensates for the image shift on the photodetector matrix in the last frame. Based on the image coordinates for the last N frames, the expected position of the beam image in the future frame is calculated, the tilt angle of the correction deflector mirror is set so that the image position in the future frame coincides with the image position on the matrix of the control video camera in previous frames.
EFFECT: improving the quality of the obtained images and eliminating the delay of the recorded image relative to the current state of the atmosphere.
