SUBSTANCE: invention relates to opening devices for opening towed gear and can be used for trawl fishing or seismic exploration. Opening device includes a hollow housing made of plastic material of concave-convex shape, having general mirror symmetry relative to the plane, which passes substantially through the middle of the height and/or the middle of the body length during use, the ratio of sides in the longitudinal direction and from top to bottom is from 1:2 to 4:1, the inner concave side and the outer convex side. Device includes at least one front towing eye on inner concave side of hull for towing rope connected to towing vessel, at least one rear towing eye for connection of towed tackle or cable. Said front and rear towing eyes are connected to each other through the body. Plastic material of the body provides buoyancy of the opening device in water. Body is formed by rotational moulding, extrusion or 3D printing. Device additionally contains a levelling ballast at least in the lower part of the device. Device can be deployed outward from the launching side of the vessel, opening the tackle in the direction of the convex outer side opposite to the front towing eye on the inner concave side. On the body there are holes in the wall of the body made of plastic material to ensure the possibility of filling the hollow inner space of the body with water with provision of neutral buoyancy in water.
EFFECT: invention provides wider field of application of the device.
