FIELD: railways.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to switch electric drives of railway automation and telemechanics and is intended for switching, closing and monitoring the position of blades, crosspieces with a movable (rotary) core on railway transport and subway. Flat switch device comprises two groups of switch electric drives, of which electric drives of the first group through their working gates and control rulers are connected to switch blades, and the electric drives of the second group through their working gates and control lines are connected to the core of the switch spider, each electric drive in each group of switch electric drives includes an electric motor, which shaft is connected through a friction assembly to a reduction gear connected to the corresponding working gate and a control ruler, wherein reduction gearboxes in each group of switch electric drives are interconnected by common shaft with manual transfer device coupled therewith to allow manual changeover of points by means of special wrench in case of failure of electric motors.
EFFECT: higher reliability and fault tolerance of the device.
